On July 10th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Ashley in Oakville, Ontario about bats in her attic. Ashley was aware that bats can cause serious damages to attics as well as carry harmful diseases that can be contracted simply by breathing in the same area. It is absolutely essential that bats are evicted from homes as soon as they are discovered.
First, our technician did a full inspection of Ashley’s house, starting from ground level and working his way up. Our technician found evidence of mice in Ashley’s house as well as bats. He then found two entry areas for both mice and bats and four problem areas that needed to be screened and caulked. He needed to install drip edge and weather stripping and caulk 250 linear feet. Our technician found six roof vents that needed to be box screened as well as two wall vents and two plumbing systems and screen all the weeping brick vents.
Our technician then evicted the mice in the most humane way by using one-way doors. After the doors were used, he sealed and secured all entry and problem areas and box screened all roof vents. Our technician then screened all plumbing systems, wall vents, weeping brick, did all the caulking, drip edge and weather stripping. Our technician then suggested scheduling a clean-up where he would remove and replenish the insulation in her attic and decontaminate it.
After the inspection, eviction, preventative work and clean-up, our technician presented Ashley with a guarantee that her house would be protected from bats, mice, rats, birds, squirrels and raccoons. Ashley was very impressed with our services.
