Bats and Mice Prevention in Simcoe, ON – July 30th, 2012

On July 30^th, 2012, Emily from Simcoe, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about bats in her attic. Bats carry diseases that can be very dangerous to humans and must be removed as soon as they are discovered in a house. Bats can also destroy the insulation in attics with their droppings. Emily also said she wanted to make sure that mice could not get into her house either.

 

One of our wildlife technicians drove out to Simcoe to do an inspection on Emily’s house. He found that there were two entry areas the bats were using to get into Emily’s house. Our technician also found that he found have to screen two roof vents and two plumbing systems on the roof. For mice prevention, our technician would have to caulk 120 linear feet and screen all the weeping brick around the house. It was a big job but, our technicians are trained to be able to handle these types of jobs.

 

First, our technician removed the bats from Emily’s house. All Wildlife Removal only uses the most humane ways to evict animals from houses and refuses to kill anything. He then did all the preventative work on Emily’s house to ensure that no bats or mice could get into and destroy the attic. After the preventative work was finished, our technician inspected the attic and scheduled a clean-up where he would remove the damaged insulation and replace it.
