Bats in Simcoe, ON – August 1st, 2012

On August 1^st, 2012, Tim from Simcoe, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal to remove bats from his attic. Tim was very aware that bats can carry diseases that, if spread to human beings, can be extremely dangerous. He wanted the bats evicted from his house as soon as possible as well as taking all measures to ensure that no animals would be able to get into his house.

 

One of our trained wildlife technicians drove out to Tim’s house to do a full house inspection starting from the ground level and working his way up towards the roof. Our technician found that he would need to screen all the weeping vents and wall vents. He found the entry area quickly as well as two problem areas that would have to be caulked and screen. Our technician would also have to caulk 156 linear feet, screen two roof vents and two plumbing systems as well as secure all roof soffit intersections and drain downspouts on Tim’s house. Finally, our technician would have to secure the turbine vents.

 

First, our technician removed the bats from the house in the most humane way possible. All Wildlife Removal is fully committed to being a humane wildlife company. Our technician then did all the preventative work on Tim’s house, ensure that no more bats, or other animals for that matter, would be able to get into his attic. Our technician then inspected Tim’s attic for any damages the bats may have left behind. Luckily, the damage was very little.
