All Wildlife Removal received a call from Sullivan in Thorold, Ontario on May 9th, 2012 about animals in his attic. Sullivan said that he could hear loud, scratching noises and was sure that it was squirrels in his attic. Squirrels can do extensive damages to one’s house so, it is very important to evict them as soon as possible.
Our technician drove out to Thorold right away. He first did a complete house inspection to ensure that there were no evidence of mice in Sullivan’s house. He then moved to the roof where he found two entry areas that were not only being used by squirrels but, birds as well. Our technician also found that, besides the entry areas that he would have to screen and caulk, there was also another problem area and seven roof vents that would need to be box screened. Upon further inspection, our technician would have to screen and secure a plumbing system and replace a plumbing mat. Also this preventative work would ensure that no more birds or squirrels would be able to get into Sullivan’s house.
Our technician then installed one-way doors that allow the squirrels to leave the house but, not return. This is the most humane way to evict animals from a house. After the eviction was complete, our technician uninstalled the one-way doors and sealed the area was well as completing all the preventative work on Sullivan’s house and roof. Our technician then scheduled an attic restoration with Sullivan to repair all the damages caused from the squirrels and birds in his attic.
After the inspection, eviction, preventative work and attic restoration, our technician presented Sullivan with a guarantee that his house would be protected from birds, squirrels, raccoons, mice, rats and bats. Sullivan was incredibly happy with our services and has since referred us to his friends with wildlife issues.
