On June 13th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from a customer in Brampton, Ontario saying that they had birds flying in and out of their house. The customer was concerned that the birds were nesting above their deck but, flying through their house and wanted the removed immediately. If birds can get into a house then, so can other animals and its very important to evict them as soon as possible.
Our technician drove out to Brampton to do a house inspection. Starting at the ground level, he found a few problem areas as well as numerous wall vents that were not properly screened. When wall vents are left in vulnerable states, it is extremely easy for animals other than birds to rip them open and use them to access the house. Our technician also found that all the weeping brick vents would need to be screened, weather stripping would need to be installed and 300 linear feet would need to be caulked. Our technician saw that he would need to strip screen the deck where the birds were nesting. Additionally, our technician would need to install 225 feet of drip edging, secure roof soffit intersections and screen and caulk six plumbing systems.
The birds were evicted immediately as humanely as possible. Then our technician proceeded to do all the preventative work for the customer’s house. This included the drip edge, weather stripping and weeping brick vents. All the preventative work would ensure that no birds, or other animals, could enter the house. Animals, as soon as they are discovered, need to be removed as soon as possible for the safety of the people living in the house.
After the inspection, eviction and preventative work were completed, our technician presented the customer with a guarantee that their house would be protected from birds, bats, rats, mice, raccoons and squirrels. The customer was very impressed with All Wildlife Removal’s services.
