Raccoons and Mice in Mississauga, Ontario – June 13th, 2012

On June 13^th, 2012, Claudio from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about raccoons in his attic and mice in his house. Claudio said that most of the loud noises he was hearing from the animals were coming from the mice, which he thought were in the walls. Mice and raccoons can do a lot of damage to a person’s house and should be removed right away.

 

First, our technician drove to Mississauga and did a full house inspection. He found the mouse entry area almost immediately as well as several problem areas in the house. Our technician also house that he would have to screen all the weeping brick vents and caulk 375 linear feet. He also found that he would have to install 220 feet of drip edge and screen four wall vents. On the roof, our technician saw that he would have to screen many entry and problem areas as well as five plumbing systems and box screen eight roof vents.  Claudio’s house was turning out to be a very large project but, all our wildlife technicians are trained to be able to hand the biggest of jobs.

 

Our technician installed one-way doors to allow the mice and raccoons to leave the house but, not return. This is the most humane way of evicting animals. After the doors were used, he uninstalled them and sealed the area used. Then our technician did all the preventative work around the house and on the roof, including the drip edge and weeping brick vents. Our technician then scheduled a clean-up with Claudio where he would remove and replenish the damaged insulation in his attic.

 

After the inspection, eviction, preventative work and clean-up, our technician presented Claudio with a guarantee that his house would be protected from raccoons, mice, rats, bats, birds and squirrels.
