All Wildlife Removal received a call on May 11th, 2012 from Miriam of Hamilton, Ontario. Helen said that she had heard loud, scratching noises coming from her attic and that raccoons were currently occupying the area. Raccoons can carry many harmful diseases and should be rid of as soon as possible. We sent out one of our wildlife technicians right away to the Hamilton home.
Our technician started with an inspection at the ground level to ensure that mice were not getting into Miriam’s home. There was evidence of mice but, our technician found that he would have to screen the chimney. Our technician would also have to secure all drain downspouts. On the roof, our technician found the entry area and two problem as well as six roof vents that would need to be box screened and two plumbing systems screened.
First, our technician installed one-way doors to remove the raccoons from Miriam’s house in the most humane way possible. He then screened, caulked and secured all areas that could be a threat to a re-entry by raccoons, mice, or other animals. After the preventative work was finished, our technician scheduled a clean-up where he would remove and replenish the severely damage insulation in Miriam’s attic and then decontaminate it.
After the inspection, removal and preventative work, our technician presented Miriam with a guarantee that her home would be guaranteed from not only raccoons but, bats, squirrels, birds, mice and rats. Miriam was very impressed with All Wildlife Removal’s services and prices.
