Birds and Mice in Stoney Creek, ON – June 25th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call on June 25^th, 2012 from Carmella in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Carmella had mice in her house and birds in her attic and wanted them removed immediately. Birds and mice can destroy the insulation in attics and mice can chew through wires and ruin the insides of houses. Carmella wanted the animals out right away.

 

First, our technician did a full house inspection for both the mice and birds. Right away, he found both entry areas in the front porch and eleven problem areas, all roof soffit intersections. Our technician would also have to box screen six roof vents, four wall vents and screening a plumbing system. He’d have to caulk 220 linear feet and screen the weeping brick vents. On top of this, he’d have to caulk and seal the furnace exhaust and corners of garage doors.

 

Second, our technician removed the birds and nesting as well as installing one-way doors to allow the mice to leave the house but, not return. All Wildlife Removal is committed to the most humane way of removing animals and one-way doors allow us to up keep that promise. Third, our technician screened and caulked all entry areas and possible threats to keep all animals out of Carmella’s house. After the preventative work was finish, our technician decontaminated and topped-up the insulation in the attic to our standard R-50.

 

Once the inspection, removal, preventative work and insulation top up were finished, our technician presented Carmella with a guarantee that her house would be protected from birds and mice as well as bats, rats, raccoons and squirrels.
