All Wildlife Removal received a call from Vita in Caledonia, Ontario on June 12th, 2012 about raccoons trapped in her house. She could heard one in her attic before and wasn’t sure they were able to get out. Raccoons are loud and destructive. It is important, regardless of whether or not they are trapped, that the raccoons are removed as soon as discovered.
We sent out a technician to Vita’s house right away. Our technician did a full house inspection to target entry and problem areas. He found that a young raccoon had become trapped in the vent line and passed away. This meant the house would need to be decontaminated. Three roof vents would need to be box screened, the upper right soffit line, which the raccoons were entering through, needed to be sealed and drain downspouts needed to be secured.
Our technicians removed the raccoon carcass and decontaminated the house. He then sealed and secured the entry area and box screened the roof vents. Our technician secured all drain downspouts and finished with an attic inspection to ensure that no other raccoons were trapped in Vita’s attic.
After the inspections, removal and preventative work, our technician presented Vita with a guarantee that her house would be protected from birds, bats, rats, mice, squirrels and raccoons. Vita was very happy with our services and has referred us to other clients.
