All Wildlife Removal received a call on May 21st, 2012, from Rajesh in Brampton, Ontario. Rajesh had squirrels and mice in his attic. Both of these animals can destroy the insulation in attics and it is very important that it does not happen. If there is any damage, the insulation needs to be removed and replaced.
Our technician did a full inspection of Rajesh’s house because mice can get absolutely anywhere in a house once they are inside. Our technician would have to caulk 275 linear feet, screen all weeping brick vents and reinforce all drain downspouts. He would also need to install drip edge, box screen six roof vents and screen and caulk three plumbing systems. Also, our technician found four entry areas which would need to be screened, caulked and secured as well. Unfortunately, Rajesh decided to go with only squirrel prevention and wait on the mice prevention this time.
Our technician installed one-way doors that allow the squirrels and mice to leave the house but, not return. This is the most humane eviction and All Wildlife Removal is 100% committed to being humane. Our technician then installed the drip edge, caulked 275 feet, box screened the vents and secured the entry points. After the preventative work, he inspected the attic for damages. Luckily, damages were very minimal.
