Squirrels and Birds in Burlington, Ontario – July 16th, 2011

Jasmina from Burlington, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on July 16^th, 2011 about birds and squirrels being in her attic. Jasmina said that she had heard loud, scratching noises from her attic and when she went to investigate, found squirrels occupying it as well as where birds were flying in and out. Because Jasmina lives in Burlington, our core area, we were able to offer her a free inspection. Right away, we sent out one of our technicians to inspect Jasmina’s house.

 

When our technician arrived, he started at ground level to ensure that it was only the attic the squirrels were getting into and no mice were entering. Finding no entry areas or evidence of mice, our technician moved up to the roof. There, he quickly found the entry point for both the squirrels and bats. Squirrels and Birds in Burlington, Ontario – July 16^th, 2011

Bats in Grimsby, Ontario – July 28th, 2011

On July 28^th, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Remo in Grimsby, Ontario about bats in his attic. Bats can carry harmful diseases that can spread to humans, like Hystoplasmosis, which is a serious respiratory illness. Remo was very concerned with his and his family’s health. Right away we sent out one of our technicians to inspect the house.

 

Upon arrival, our technician did a full house inspection. Finding no evidence of mice or rats but, 180 linear feet that needed to be caulked, our technician moved up to the roof. There, he found the entry area for the bats in one of the back roof soffit intersections. This entry area was big enough that numerous animals could also use it to gain access to the attic. Next, our technician inspected the attic. He found that the bats had been living there for quite some time and had destroyed the insulation, contaminating it with their feces and urination. That meant that our technician would have to replace the insulation and decontaminate the attic.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work were finished, our technician scheduled a clean-up where he would remove and replenish the damaged insulation and decontaminate Remo’s attic. Squirrels and Mice in Georgetown, Ontario – August 14th, 2011

All Wildlife Removal received a call on August 14^th, 2011 from Rod in Georgetown about a disturbance in his home. Rod believed that a squirrel was in his attic and also running around in his walls. Squirrels can do considerable damage to attics and it is extremely important to get rid of them as soon as they are noticed. Immediately, we sent out one of our technicians to Rod’s house for an inspection.

 

When our wildlife technician arrived, he started at the ground level to find where animals could be entering into his walls. Through his inspection, our technician found evidence of mice, not squirrels, in the walls and that he would have to caulk 250 linear feet and the entry point for the mice. Our technician found that he would also have to screen three wall vents. Moving up to the roof, our technician immediately found the entry area that the squirrels were using, as well as five roof vents, two plumbing mats and two plumbing vents that needed to be screened and caulked.  Our technician then installed one-way doors to allow the squirrels to leave and not return to the attic.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work, our technician scheduled an attic restoration to fix the damages that the squirrels had caused in Rod’s attic. Birds and Raccoons in Burlington, Ontario – June 2nd, 2011

Peter and Isobel from Burlington, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on June 2^nd, 2011. The couple could hear scratching noises coming from their attic. Isobel was concerned that there were raccoons living in their attic and Peter was sure they were damaging his attic. Squirrels in Waterdown, Ontario – July 25th, 2011

Rita from Waterdown, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about loud, scratching noises coming from her attic. Rita’s house was fairly new and she was incredibly concerned about the damages the animal would do to her attic. We sent out one of our technicians immediately to do an inspection.

 

Our technician started on the roof where he located the animal entry points right away. Bats in Welland, Ontario – August 2nd, 2011

On August 2^nd, 2011, John from Welland, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about bats in the attic of his clinic. On August 10, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Angus in Burlington, Ontario about loud, scratching noises coming from his attic. Angus was afraid that animals were living in his attic and requested an inspection. Animals can do significant damage to person’s attic and it is crucial that they be removed as soon as possible. Right away, we sent out one of our technicians.

 

Upon arrival, our technician started at the ground level to look for entry points. Our technician found that all the weeping brick needed to be screened to prevent mice from entering Angus’ house. The weather stripping on the garage door needed to be replaced and three wall vents needed to be screened and caulked. Next, our technician moved to the roof. He found numerous entry and problem areas as well as plumbing vents and mats that needed to be screened to prevent further entry. There also was a roof vent that was so badly damaged that it needed to be replaced.

Squirrels in Mississauga, Ontario – August 4th, 2011

Roxy from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on August 4^th, 2011 about loud noises coming from her house. Roxy said that there was scratching sounds coming from her attic, walls and between floors of her house. It is very dangerous to have wildlife animals occupying a person’s house so, we sent out one of our technicians right away.

 

Our technicians did a full inspection of the house when he got to Roxy’s. Our technician found two entry areas that the animals were using and there was also drip edge that needed to be installed. Raccoons in Hamilton, Ontario – August 2nd, 2011

On August 2^nd, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Pam in Hamilton, Ontario, concerned about an animal in her walls. Pam was hearing scratching noises coming from inside one of her walls and did not want whichever animal to damage it. We sent out one of our technicians right away.

 

When our technician arrived, he did a full house inspection where he found the entry area was between Pam and her neighbours’ house. Squirrels and Birds in Hamilton, Ontario – June 6th, 2011

Elizabeth in Hamilton, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on June 6^th, 201t because she was hearing loud, scratching noises from her attic and was sure a squirrel was living in there. Bats and Mice in Oakville, Ontario – June 22nd, 2011

On June 22^nd, 2011, Ray from Oakville, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal saying that he believed that bats were in his attic. Skunks Under Shed in Ancaster, Ontario – August 26th, 2011

Tom from Ancaster, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on August 26^th, 2011. Tom said that there were skunks underneath his shed that needed to be removed immediately. Skunks, besides leaving an odour, can be a huge nuisance and should be removed as soon as possible. We sent out one of our technicians to inspect and remove the skunks from the area.

 

Our technician started out with an inspection. He found the entry area which needed to be screened and caulked. Bats in Schomberg, Ontario – July 18th, 2011

On July 18^th, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Debbie in Schomberg, Ontario. Debbie had come home from work to find three large bats had entered her home. Scared, she called us for an emergency removal. Bats can carry several diseases that can be very harmful to humans and it is extremely important that they are removed right away. Birds and Babies in St. Catherines, Ontario – May 28th, 2011

Kathy from St. Catherines, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 28^th, 2011 about birds in her storage building. They had been pestering her for quite some time and she needed them removed as fast as possible. Birds and bird droppings can carry numerous diseases, including E. Coli. Right away, we sent out one of our technicians.

 

Our technician drove out to St. Catherines immediately and inspected the storage building. He found the nest, including babies, which he removed and placed in a baby box on site. The baby box allows the mother bird to find them after being removed and gives the babies a place to grow up outside of the storage building. Raccoons in Hamilton, Ontario – June 15th, 2011

All Wildlife Removal recieved a call from a contractor in Hamilton, Ontario on June 15^th, 2011. The contractor said that they had found a mother raccoon and her babies living in a wall cavity in the house that they were working on. In order to complete their construction, they needed the raccoons removed immediately. Right away, we sent out one of our technicians.

 

When our technician arrived at the Hamilton job site, the contractor pointed out where the raccoons were and our technician was able to remove them right away. Raccoons in Hamilton, Ontario – June 15th, 2011

All Wildlife Removal recieved a call from a contractor in Hamilton, Ontario on June 15^th, 2011. The contractor said that they had found a mother raccoon and her babies living in a wall cavity in the house that they were working on. In order to complete their construction, they needed the raccoons removed immediately. Right away, we sent out one of our technicians.

 

When our technician arrived at the Hamilton job site, the contractor pointed out where the raccoons were and our technician was able to remove them right away. Mother raccoons become very protective of their babies and it is important to remove them as fast as possible for the safety of the occupants of the house. Our technician also set traps that would capture any other raccoons or animals living in the house without hurting them.

 

Our technician then offered to do the preventative work for the house where he would screen and caulk any possible entry points. Raccoons in Burlington, Ontario – August 18th, 2011

On August 18^th, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call by a woman in Burlington, Ontario about a smell that was in her backyard. She believed that the smell was coming from some kind of dead animal under her back deck. Animal carcasses can attract other animals and will contaminate the surrounding areas so, we sent out one of our technicians to do an inspection.

 

Our wildlife technician went straight to the back deck and inspected it for entry areas around the deck. As soon as our technician was able to locate where the animal had entered from, he was able to locate the dead animals which ended up being two raccoons. Our technician immediately removed and disposed of the carcasses. Our technician then sprayed the back deck with a bacterial agent that would decontaminate it and make the smell from the raccoons go away.

 

Our technician then recommended that the deck should be screened to keep any more raccoons or other animals, such as possums and skunks, from gaining entry. Our technician guaranteed that, with the preventative work, the back deck would be protected from re-entry. Birds and Mice in Hamilton, Ontario – August 2nd, 2011

On August 2^nd, 2011 Carmen from Hamilton, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about birds living in his attic. He said that he could hear them flying around and knew where they were coming from but, he could not rid the house of them himself. Carmen said he wanted them gone immediately and for us to do whatever we could to ensure they would not be returning. We sent out one of our technicians to do an inspection for Carmen right away.

 

When our technician arrived at Carmen’s house, he started with a ground level inspection. Our technician found that he would have to do 250 feet of caulking, weathering stripping and screen the weeping brick due to evidence of mice in Carmen’s house. Our technician found that eight roof vents, two plumbing vents and two plumbing mats would need to be screened and caulked as well as the two entry points, eight problem areas and four wall vents. Our technician then removed the birds as safely and humanely as possible and did the entire preventative work for Carmen.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work, our technician scheduled a clean-up for Carmen’s attic. Since the attic wasn’t damaged, there was no reason for an attic restoration but, the feces would need to be cleaned up and the attic decontaminated. Raccoons in Oakville, Ontario – August 6th, 2011

On August 6^th, 2011 Lee from Oakville, Ontario called about an animal intrusion in her attic. She was unsure of which animal was in her attic but, Lee could hear loud, scratching noises and running from one end of her attic to the other throughout the night. She said that she could not handle the noises anymore and needed the animals removed as soon as possible. We sent out one of our wildlife technicians right away.

 

Our technician started with a ground level inspection to ensure no mice or rats were entering Lee’s house. After a though investigation, he moved onward and found five wall vents that needed to be screened and caulked to prevent further entry. Our technician found two plumbing mats, two plumbing vents, two problem areas and five roof vents that needed to be screened and caulked as well. Our technician then found that numerous roof soffit intersections were torn up from animals and that was how they were entering the building. From this discovery, our technician could conclude that the animal was either a raccoon or squirrel. When our technician entered the attic, he found that it was raccoons that were occupying Lee’s attic.

 

After the inspection, our technician removed the raccoons and did the preventative work for Lee. Our technician then scheduled an attic restoration to repair all damages the raccoon caused as well as decontaminate the attic for Lee. Squirrels in Brantford, Ontario – May 27th, 2011

On May 27^th, 2011, Dan from Brantford, Ontario called about squirrels living in his attic. Dan said he could hear loud, scratching noises coming from there and was deeply concerned that the squirrels were damaging his attic. We sent out one of our wildlife technicians to check out the house right away.

Our technician started with a ground level inspection to ensure that no mice or rats were coming into the house. He then moved onward where he found he would have to do 10 feet of strip screening. Our technician then moved to the roof where he found one entry point that needed to be screened and caulked as well as numerous roof vents and plumbing mats that needed to be secured. Once he gained access to the attic, he found that the squirrels had done an extensive amount of damage to Dan’s attic and he would need to do a full attic restoration for him.

Bats in Hamilton, Ontario – August 18th, 2011

Megan from Hamilton, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on August 18^th, 2011 about bats living in her attic. She said that she went up to get something and could hear them making noise. Megan is extremely scared of bats and the thought of them living in her attic terrified her. We sent out one of our wildlife technicians to remove the bats immediately.

Our technician started with an inspection to find all the areas that the bats could be possibly entering from. He found that he would need to screen the chimney, as well as four wall vents around the house. When our technician inspected the roof, he found that he would need to screen and caulk all the roof vents, plumbing mats and plumbing vents. He also found four problem areas that needed to be secured as well as the two entry points the bats were using. Sealing all these areas would ensure that bats, and other animals, could not get into Megan’s home. Raccoons in Brantford, Ontario – June 3rd, 2011

Theo from Brantford, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on June 3^rd, 2011 about a raccoon occupying his attic. Theo said that his daughters were being kept awake at night by the loud, scratching noises above their bedrooms. He said he would like the raccoon evicted as soon as possible so his children could finally get a good night’s sleep. We sent out one of our wildlife technicians immediately.

Our technician started with a ground level inspection. As he worked his way up to the roof, he found that there were two wall vents that needed to be screened and caulked to prevent further entry from wildlife animals. Our technician then inspected the roof. Our technician found the entry area near the back of the roof, just by the girls’ bedrooms. He also found one problem area as well as four roof vents, a plumbing mat and plumbing vent that needed to be screened and caulked to keep raccoons from intruding again. Our technician also needed to reinforce soffits to keep raccoons from tearing them opening and entering the attic again.

Once the inspection was complete, our technician removed the racoon and did the entire preventative work for Theo’s house. Bats and Mice in Mississauga, Ontario – July 15th, 2011

On July 15^th, 2011, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Rosemary in Mississauga, Ontario about, what she was sure was, bats in her attic. She said that she could hear them in there and from previous experience knew that they carried diseases that could be harmful to her and her children. Rosemary wanted them out as soon as possible to ensure her family’s house.

Right away, our technician started with a full house inspection. He found that, besides what Rosemary had identified, there was also evidence of mice getting into her house. To prevent this, our technician would have to do extensive caulking, weather stripping and screening of breather brick. As our technician moved up through the house, he found that on the roof there were six problem areas that needed to screened and caulked. Our technician also found 12 roof vents that needed to be box screened, three plumbing mats, three plumbing vents and one entry point. Our technician would also need to install drip edging as well. When he got into the attic he found that Rosemary was right, bats were living in her attic. Our All Wildlife Removal technician was able to safely and humanely remove the bats right away.

The bats had done very little damage to the attic but, the attic still needed to be cleaned out and decontaminated for harmful diseases. Raccoons and Squirrels in Toronto, Ontario – June 21, 2011

Michael from Toronto, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on June 21, 2011 about a disturbance in his house. He could hear what sounded like running in his attic and it was so loud that it was keeping him up at night. Michael said that it was extremely irritating and he wanted All Wildlife Removal to inspect and remove whatever animal was living in his attic immediately. We sent out one of our technicians as soon as possible.

Our technician started with a ground level inspection to check for any entries by mice or rats. He then moved on and worked his way through Michael’s house until he got to the roof. On the roof, our technician found not one but, two entry points. This meant that there could possibly be two different animals in Michael’s house. Our technician then also found 10 problem areas that could cause re-entry and that all metal flashings needed to be reinforced. Once our technician gained entry into the attic, he confirmed his suspicions, raccoons and squirrels were both living in Michael’s attic. Once they were located, it made it much easier for our technician to remove the animals and screen and secure all problem and entry areas to prevent further entry.

The squirrels and raccoons had caused serious damage to Michael’s attic.
