Bats in Brant, Ontario – May 30th, 2012

On May 30^th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Laura in Brant, Ontario. Laura had come home from work to find a large bat had entered her home. Scared, she called us for an emergency removal. Bats can carry several diseases that can be very harmful to humans and it is extremely important that they are removed right away. Squirrels in Mississauga, Ontario – May 31st, 2012

Paul from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 31^st, 2012 about loud noises coming from his house. Paul said that there was scratching sounds coming from his attic and that he was sure the squirrels has ruined his attic. It is very dangerous to have wildlife animals occupying a person’s house so, we sent out one of our technicians right away.

 

Our technicians did a full inspection of the house when he got to Paul’s. Our technician found one entry area that the squirrels were using and there was also 230 feet of drip edge that needed to be installed. Our technician would also have to box screen eight roof vents and screen and caulk two plumbing systems. He also needed to secure the drain downspouts. When our technician inspected the attic, he found that it was squirrels in Paul’s house that he was hearing. Squirrels can carry harmful diseases and severely damage insulation in the house.

 

Our technician installed a one-way door so, the squirrels could leave but, not return to Paul’s house. He then screened, caulked and sealed the entry points and installed the upper and lower drip edge. He caulked and screened the roof vents and plumbing systems. Our technician then scheduled a clean-up to remove damaged insulation and replenish it as well as decontaminate where the squirrels had been.

Bats and Mice in Brant, Ontario – May 30th, 2012

Ian from Brant, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about bats in his attic on May 30^th, 2012. Ian had heard of the diseases bats carry that can be harmful for humans and wanted them removed immediately. Ian also made it very clear that he did not want the bats, or any animals for that matter, to return. Right away, we sent one of our technicians.

 

When our technician got to Ian’s house, he started his inspection from the ground level. Finding three wall vents and weeping brick vents that should be screened, he concluded that mice were also getting into Ian’s house. Bats in Hamilton, Ontario – May 25th, 2012

On May 25^th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Racheal in Hamilton, Ontario about bats in his attic. Bats can carry harmful diseases that can spread to humans, like Hystoplasmosis, which is a serious respiratory illness. Racheal was very concerned with her and her family’s health. Right away we sent out one of our technicians to inspect the house.

 

Upon arrival, our technician did a full house inspection. Finding no evidence of mice or rats but, 120 linear feet that needed to be caulked as well as 90 feet of drip edge and screen two chimneys, our technician moved up to the roof. There, he found three entry areas from the bats as well as an old squirrel entry area that would become a problem. This problem area was big enough that numerous animals could also use it to gain access to the attic. Our technician also found that he would have to box screen four roof vents and caulk and screen a plumbing system and two wall vents. Next, our technician inspected the attic. He found that the bats had been living there for quite some time and had destroyed the insulation, contaminating it with their feces and urination. That meant that our technician would have to replace the insulation and decontaminate the attic.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work were finished, our technician scheduled a clean-up where he would remove and replenish the damaged insulation and decontaminate Racheal’s attic. Squirrels in Uxbridge, Ontario – May 18th, 2012

Sharon from Uxbridge, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 18^th, 2012 about loud, scratching noises coming from her attic that she was sure were squirrels. Sharon’s house was fairly new and she was incredibly concerned about the damages the animal would do to her attic. We sent out one of our technicians immediately to do an inspection.

 

Our technician started on the roof where he located the animal entry points right away. He also found that there were 13 problem areas on Sharon’s roof, most of which were the roof soffit intersections. Our technician also found loose soffit panels that needed to be secured. Animals, such as squirrels and raccoons, can get a hold of the soffit and get into the attic through it. Our technician also found that six roof vents needed to be box screened and a plumbing system needed to be screened and caulked. Our technician found that he would have to screen and secure two chimneys as well as drip edge that would need to be installed.

Raccoons and Prevention in Mississauga, Ontario – May 19th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call on May 19^th, 2012 from Helen in Mississauga, Ontario. Helen had gone up to her attic to look for some family heirlooms and had spotted a raccoon in her attic. Terrified, she called All Wildlife Removal to come and remove the raccoon as soon as possible. Helen said that she also did not want the raccoon, or any other animals, to return. Immediately, we sent out one of our wildlife technicians to do an inspection.

 

First, our technician started at the ground level. He found that there was evidence of mice in Helen’s house and he would have to screen all the weeping brick vents as well as 120 feet of caulking to keep the mice from continuing their entry. As our technician continued his inspection, he found that he would have to install weather stripping and 120 feet of drip edge to Helen’s house. As our technician moved upwards to the roof, he found the entry area as well as eight roof vents that would need to be box screened and a plumbing system.

 

Second, our technician installed one-way doors so that the raccoons and mice could leave Helen’s house but, not return in a humane and safe way. After the doors were used, our technician removed them and sealed and secured the entry area. He then installed the drip edge and weather stripping, did all the caulking, screened the weeping brick and did all the roof work. After he was finished, he scheduled a clean-up of Helen’s attic.

Birds and Squirrels in Burlington, Ontario – May 24th, 2012

On May 24^th, 2012, Janette from Burlington, Ontario called about squirrels getting into her house. They were loud and she wanted them removed immediately and was very adamant about the fact that Janette did not want them to be able to return. Squirrels can do a lot of damage to a house and carry diseases that are harmful to humans. It is incredibly important to have them removed as soon as possible.

 

We were able to send out one of our technicians that day because Janette lived in our core area.  Our technician started at the ground level and worked his way up to the roof for his inspection. He found that he would have to install 200 feet of drip edge and eight feet of weather stripping as well as 220 feet of caulking. On top of this, our technician would have to screen and secure two entry areas and ten problem areas as well as box screening eight roof vents, three plumbing systems, three wall vents and all weeping brick vents. As our technician did his inspection, he realized that not only were squirrels in the attic but, so were birds.

 

Our technician removed the birds and placed the nesting material in a container, leaving it outside the house so the birds did not have to go into the house again. He then installed a one-way door to allow the squirrels to leave but, not return in the most humane way possible. Our technician then did all the preventative work, with the help of some of our other technicians. After the one-way door was used, our technician removed and resealed the entry area so no squirrel, bird or any other animal could possibly re-enter Janette’s house.

Raccoons in Etobicoke, Ontario – May 10th, 2012

Jean from Etobicoke, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 10^th, 2012 about raccoons in her attic. She could hear loud, scratching noises from the attic that was keeping her and her husband up at night. Jean was very concerned that the raccoons would damage her house if kept in their too long. Not only can the damage houses but, raccoons can also contaminate them and make the family inside very, very sick.

 

We sent one of our technicians to Etobicoke to do an inspection. Upon request from Jean, he did an inspection for full protection. That meant that everything, from the bottom of the house to the top would have to be protected from raccoons and other animals re-entering. Our technician found that he would have to do 350 feet of caulking as well as 200 feet of drip edge and all the weeping brick needed to be screened. There were four wall vents, nine roof vents, two plumbing systems and two entry areas that needed to be screened and secured. It was a big job but, our technicians are trained to be able to handle virtually any project.

 

First, our technician installed a one-way door on one of the entry points to allow the raccoons to leave but, not return to the attic in a humane way. He then screened all entry points and possible entry points as well as doing all the roof work. With help from some of our other technicians, he installed the drip edge, did all the caulking and screened the weeping brick. When the one-way door was used, our technician sealed off the entry point.

Birds, Raccoons and Mice in Mississauga, ON – May 10th, 2012

Peter from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 10^th, 2012. Peter called about a bird removal that he desperately needed. Somehow, birds were getting in and out of his house and he wasn’t sure how. If birds could get into Peter’s apartment, other animals certainly could as well and he insisted that he needed full protection to keep that from happening.

 

That day, one of our technicians drove out to Mississauga to do an inspection on Peter’s house. He started at the ground level and found evidence of mice. This meant he would need to do 400 feet of caulking to keep the mice out and weather stripping. As our technician continued his inspection, he found that two wall vents would need to be screened, two downspout drains would need to be reinforced, three plumbing systems, 15 box screens and 220 feet of drip edge. Our technician found the entry points which both looked like a previous animal, possibly a raccoon, had opened. Raccoons can tear apart roof soffit intersections and from the looks of the ones of Peter’s house, they were definitely going to be a problem.

 

Our technician removed the birds and the nesting material, placing it in a container outside of the house so the bird would have no reason to come back in. He then sealed all the entry points and screened and secured all problem areas. Next, with the help of some of our other technicians, he did all the weather stripping, caulking and roof work. Our technician then scheduled an attic restoration with Peter to fix the damages that the animals had done to Peter’s attic and insulation. All insulation would be removed and replaced and the attic would be decontaminated.

Squirrels and Mice in Brampton, ON – May 14th, 2012

On May 14^th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Carol in Brampton, ON about squirrels in her attic. Carol said that she could hear them running around in her attic and was very afraid of them damaging her attic. Animals like squirrels and raccoons need to be removed right away because it does not take them long to damage an area.

 

We sent out one of our technicians to Brampton, ON right away to do an inspection. When he arrived at Carol’s house, he started with a ground level inspect to ensure that there were other animals, like mice and rats, entering Carol’s house. Our technician found evidence of mice and that he would need to do 200 feet of caulking, eight feet of weather stripping and screen all the weeping brick around Carol’s house. On top of the mice prevention, our technician discovered that he would need to screen two entry areas and a problem area in the back of the house as well as two plumbing systems, a wall vent and install 175 feet of drip edge.

 

Carol decided that she just wanted to go through with the squirrel prevention and then later on go through with mice prevention. Our technician installed one way doors to allow the squirrels to exit the house but, not return. After the door was used, he sealed the area and started the squirrel prevention work. Our technician then set up a clean-up where he would come back and remove and replenish the insulation and decontaminate the attic.

Squirrels in Burlington, Ontario – May 2nd, 2012

On May 2nd, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from John in Burlington, Ontario. John said that there were loud, scratching noises coming from his attic and when he went to check it out, he found that squirrels were living in there. John also said that, from what he could see, the squirrels had damaged his attic and he didn’t want anymore damage being done by them.

 

Since John lived in Burlington, Ontario, part of our core area, our technician was able to drive out right away for John’s free inspection. Our technician started at the ground level to make sure that the squirrels were not getting into the house as well as the attic. He then moved on to the roof inspection where he found, not only the entry area that the squirrels were using, but problem areas that the squirrels could potentially use. Our technician found also that he would need to box screen nine roof vents and screen two plumbing systems and install 140 feet of drip edge.

 

To remove the squirrels, our technician installed a one-way door to allow the squirrels to leave but, not return to the attic. This is the most humane way to remove an animal from a house. Our technician then sealed off the area so that no squirrels could re-enter and screened and secured all problem areas, roof vents and plumbing vents. After installing drip edge, our technician inspected the attic for damages. He scheduled a clean-up with John to come back and decontaminate his attic.

Birds in Mississauga, Ontario – May 14th, 2012

Brian from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal on May 14th, 2012 about an issue he was having with birds in his attic. He had said that they had only been there for a few days and would like them removed as soon as possible. The droppings from birds in the attic can contaminate an entire house and it is very important, for everyone’s safety, to get rid of the birds before they become unmanageable.

 

One of our technicians drove out to Mississauga right away to do an inspection on Brian’s house. Since Brian could identify that it was birds and where they were located, it was very easy for our technician to pin point the two entry points of which the birds were using. He also found that one of the roof soffit intersections was going to be a problem and could be easily used for any animal to gain re-entry to the attic. As well, our technician found that he would need to box screen five roof vents and screen a plumbing system. Finally, he found that he would have to do 95 feet of drip edge to complete the preventive work.

 

Our technician opened the entry point and removed the birds and nest from the attic. He placed the nest in a baby jug where the mother bird could still use it. Our technician then did all the preventative work to keep the birds, and other animals, from returning to Brian’s house. Our technician then inspected the attic for damage and found that he would need to do a clean-up where he would replenish the insulation and decontaminate the attic.

Squirrels in Burlington, Ontario – June 22nd, 2012

On June 22nd, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call about squirrels entering a customer’s home. She was very sure that it was only squirrels and wanted them removed right away. She said that the squirrels and previous animals before had damaged her attic and she would need an attic restoration after the preventative work was done. Our technician arrived at her house the same day for an inspection.

 

First, our technician started at the ground level to make sure that mice were not getting in her house as well. After finding no evidence of mice, he moved upwards where he found that the squirrel entry point was in the left upper wall vent and the cover would need replacing. As our technician continued his inspection, he found that he would need to do six box screens and screen two wall vents and three roof soffit intersections as well as install drip edge.

 

Next, our technician installed a one way door on the wall vent to coax the squirrels out of the house but, not allow them to return to the house. Once the one-way door was used, our technician uninstalled it and replaced the wall vent cover. He then screened and secured all potential entry points and installed the drip edge on the house.

 

Finally, after the inspection, removal and preventative work were finished, our technician scheduled an attic restoration where he would replace and replenish the insulation and decontaminate the attic as well as repairing damages. Our technician presented the customer with a guarantee that all work would be protected from squirrels, birds, bats, rats, mice and raccoons.

Raccoons in Oakville, Ontario – June 6th, 2012

A customer called All Wildlife Removal on June 6th, 2012 complaining of raccoons being in their house. They said that the loud noises coming from their attic were definitely raccoons and they needed them removed before the animals cause damage to the attic. It is very important to remove raccoons as soon as possible because they carry diseases that are harmful to humans.

 

Our technician drove out to Oakville right away to do an inspection. He was able to start right away on the roof inspection because the customer located where the raccoons were. Our technician found that numerous roof soffit intersections that needed to be screened as well as downspout drains that needed to be secured. The raccoon was able to get in above the downspout drain and had pulled the flashings loose. This is very common for animals like raccoons to do.

 

Our technician installed a one-way door to allow the raccoons to leave but not return. After the raccoon uses the door, it is then uninstalled and the hole is resealed. Our technician then secured all downspout drains and screened the roof soffit intersections that had been destroyed by the raccoons. Upon the customer’s request, our technician schedule a second date to come back and finish all the roof work, including screening roof vents, plumbing mats and plumbing vents. Normally, this is something our team would do the same day but, the customer had insisted on separating the two.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work were done, our technician inspected the attic for damages left by the raccoon. Fortunately, the raccoons had been caught early enough to ensure that minimal damage was left behind. Our technician presented the customer with a guarantee that all preventative work would be protected from raccoons, squirrels, birds, bats, mice and rats. The customer was incredibly happy.

Raccoons in Niagara Falls, Ontario – June 26th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call on June 26th, 2012 from a customer in Niagara Falls, Ontario about raccoons in her attic. She said that the raccoons were scaring her very young daughters and she needed them removed as quickly as possible. Within hours, one of our technicians was at her house to do an inspection.

 

Our technician started at the ground level to ensure that there was no evidence of mice in the house. If raccoons could get in, mice certainly could as well. Finding no indications of mice, our technician moved on to the chimney. He found that raccoons were definitely getting into the chimney. That meant that our technician would have to screen off the chimney. Next, our technician inspected the roof. There, he found that there were four roof vents that he would need to box screen, as well as two plumbing systems. Our technician was able to locate the raccoon entry points in the roof soffit intersections, all would need to be secured to prevent re-entry from raccoons and other animals.

 

Our technician used two one-way doors to allow the raccoons to leave but, not return. All Wildlife Removal uses this method because it is safe for both our technicians and the animals and very humane. Our technician then did all the preventative work for the customer’s house. Finally, he did one last inspection for damages the raccoons may have caused and scheduled an attic restoration where he would come and clean out the insulation, replenish it and decontaminate the attic to keep the house a safe and healthy living space.

Bats and Mice in Oakville, Ontario –July 10th, 2012

On July 10th, 2012 a customer from Oakville, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal stating that he could hear loud, scratching noises coming from his walls and chimney. He believed that it was mice in his house and knew very well how much damage animals can cause. He wanted them out as soon as possible. Immediately, we sent out one of our wildlife technicians for an inspection of the house.

 

Our technician started at the ground level. Right away, he noticed that the weeping bricks would need to be screened and knew that mice were, in fact, in the house. Our technician found two mice entry points that would need to be screened immediately to prevent re-entry. Drip edge and caulking would also be needed to keep the unwanted mice out of the house. Moving up, our technician found wall vents and roof soffit intersections that would need to be screened and caulked as well. Upon urging by the customer, our technician checked out the chimney. He found bats living in the chimney that would definitely need to be removed, as well as screening the chimney to prevent bats from re-entering. Fortunately, our technician found no bat entry points on the roof. Therefore, the bats were only in the chimney.

 

Our technician used one-way doors to allow the mice to leave the house but, not return. He then did all the preventative work on the house and chimney to keep mice, bats and other animals, from re-entering. Our technician inspected the house for damage from the mice or feces that could contaminate the house. Luckily, the customer had caught on to the mice early enough that damage was minimal.

 

After the inspection, removal and preventative work were finished, our technician presented the customer with a guarantee that his house would be protected from mice, bats, rats, birds, raccoons and squirrels.
