Raccoon Prevention and Clean-up in Burlington, ON – July 27th, 2012

Bats in Dundas, ON – July 24th, 2012

Mice, Squirrels and Birds in Mississauga, ON – July 19th, 2012

On July 19^th, 2012, Darlene from Mississauga, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal with a big problem. Darlene had mice, squirrels and birds in her house that she needed to be rid of. The mice were in her walls and the squirrels and birds were in her attic. This meant that there would have to be work done on the entire house.

Raccoons and Squirrels in Hamilton, ON – July 14th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call from Nathan in Hamilton, Ontario about animals in his house. Nathan was hearing loud, scratching noises coming from his attic and was nervous about the animals destroying the house. Bats in Hamilton, ON – June 26th, 2012

On June 26^th, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Simmy in Hamilton, Ontario about bats being in her house. The bats were not only in her attic but, also in the walls. Bats can contaminate the air of a house and need to be removed as soon as possible.

 

We sent out one of our technicians to inspect Simmy’s house. Our technician found that there were three entry areas that the bats were using to get into the house. He also found four areas that could turn into problem areas for Simmy if the bats needed to find another entry point. These areas all needed to be screened and caulked. Our technician would also have to box screen six roof vents and screen two plumbing systems. He would also have to caulk 110 linear feet and screen a wall vent. Raccoons in Caledonia, ON – June 12th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call from Vita in Caledonia, Ontario on June 12^th, 2012 about raccoons trapped in her house. She could heard one in her attic before and wasn’t sure they were able to get out. Raccoons are loud and destructive. It is important, regardless of whether or not they are trapped, that the raccoons are removed as soon as discovered.

 

We sent out a technician to Vita’s house right away. Our technician did a full house inspection to target entry and problem areas. He found that a young raccoon had become trapped in the vent line and passed away. This meant the house would need to be decontaminated. Three roof vents would need to be box screened, the upper right soffit line, which the raccoons were entering through, needed to be sealed and drain downspouts needed to be secured.

Mice, bats, rats and chipmunks in Mississauga, ON – June 9th, 2012

Mice in Burlington, ON – June 5th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call from Elden in Burlington, Ontario on June 5^th, 2012. Elden had a mice infestation in his attic that he wanted taken care of immediately. Mice can destroy the insulation in the attic with their feces. It is vital that they are removed as soon as possible.

Birds in car dealership in Hamilton, ON – May 24th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call on May 24^th, 2012, from John in Hamilton, Ontario. The car dealership that John worked for was having problems with birds nesting in their sign on the wall of the building. The constant bird chirping were bothering both customer and employees of the dealership. John wanted the birds and nesting removed immediately.

 

When our technician inspected the dealership, he found that the job would be much harder than originally thought. The sign would have to be removed with a scissor lift so the nesting could be relocated. The sign would be then decontaminated and pressure washed before anti-perching could be installed. The anti-perching keeps the birds from getting in behind the sign again.

 

Our technician and office staff arranged to have a scissor lift and pressure washer rented for this specific job. Our technician then, with the help of some of our other technicians, removed the sign and relocated the birds and nesting. Squirrels in Georgetown, ON – May 22nd, 2012

Raccoons in Niagara Falls, ON – June 20th, 2012

On June 20^th, 2012, Mitchell from Niagara Falls, Ontario called All Wildlife Removal about raccoons in his house. The raccoons had severally damaged his attic and contaminated the entire house because of this. Mitchell assumed that the raccoons had been up there for a very long time before being noticed by him and his wife. Raccoons and Squirrels in Burlington, ON – June 6th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call on June 6^th, 2012 from Erin in Burlington, Ontario. Erin said that she could hear loud, scratching noises from her attic and that there was both squirrels and raccoons up there. Raccoons in gas station in Grimsby, ON – June 5th, 2012

On June 5^th, 2012, Shell gas station in Grimsby, Ontario was having problems with raccoons in their roof and called All Wildlife Removal. Raccoons can be, not only extremely annoying, but also dangerous as they can destroy necessary equipment and wiring. Its extremely important that they are removed as quickly as possible.

 

Our technician drove out to Grimsby to inspect the problem. He found that there were two entry areas that the raccoons were using to invade the roof. Our technician also found that there was 60 feet of flashing and screen he would have to install to prevent the raccoons from returning to the gas station. He would also need to secure all soffit perimeter to ensure the prevention of raccoons.

Squirrels in Ancaster, ON – June 5th, 2012

All Wildlife Removal received a call from Mohammed in Ancaster, Ontario on June 5^th, 2012 regarding squirrels in his attic. He said that, as far as he knew, the squirrels had not been there long and he would like them removed as soon as possible. Squirrels can damage attics as soon as the enter them and it is extremely important to remove them right away.

 

Our technician drove out to Mohammed’s house to do an inspection for him. First, our wildlife technician noticed three wall vents that would have to be screened and caulked. Once animals are evicted, they will find many other ways to enter the house again, including wall vents. Next, our technician found the entry point at the rear soffit intersection and problem areas in all the other roof soffit intersections. Then our technician found eight roof vents that needed to be box screened as well as two plumbing systems that should be screened.

 

After the inspection, our technician installed a one-way door over the entry area to allow the squirrel to humanely leave the house but, not allow it to return. Our technician then screened and caulked all problem areas, roof vents, wall vents and plumbing vents. Animals, like squirrels, can rip apart any holes they can get to and open up a new entry area so, it is essential that these areas are screened off to prevent this.

 

Once the inspection, removal and preventative work were done, our technician inspected Mohammed’s attic for damages. Luckily, he had been right when he said that the squirrels had not been there long and there was minimal damage. Groundhogs in Hamilton, ON – June 1st, 2012

On June 1^st, 2012, All Wildlife Removal received a call from Tim in Hamilton, Ontario about a groundhog that was trapped under his shed. Tim said that the groundhog was loud and squealing as if it were almost in pain and had been there for only a few days. Both All Wildlife Removal and Tim were very concerned for the safety of the groundhog.

 

We sent out a technician to Tim’s house to do an inspection of the shed. Our technician found the entry area easily and saw that he would have to install an exit door. He’d also have to dig a two feet of trench and install steel wire to allow the groundhog to get out from under the shed but, prevent it from returning. The installation of the one-way door would all the groundhog to escape in the most humane way possible.
